UPDATES, UPDATES, and more UPDATES (baseball season begins)

So June was the start of Legion Baseball for Joe to coach...so we spent most of the hot summer nights at the ball field watching his team play.  It was also the start of me training for my half marathon that I will be runnign in December for the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon here in Vegas.  So I have posted some motivating posters around the house to help me out...not going to lie, I really didn't start training till this past week (July 5th).  But I am in full training mode and I am pumped to get going.  I am running 4 times a week and doing Bikram Yoga, as well as, other things 5-6 times a week.  Keeping my fingers crossed that I make it through this training fully healthy and ready to go in December!

UPDATES, UPDATES, and more UPDATES (Grandma's Visit)

May was the month for Grandma's to visit.  Grandma Jackie got to visit us for a short time all the way from Texas...we had a great time with her.  Miniture golfing, going out to eat, visiting the Planet Hollywood shops, and much more!  We were sad to see her go, but so glad we got to share a couple of days with her.  Grandma Lisa also got to visit us for a little bit all the way from New York...it was great to see her as always.  She got to come in and celebrate Brooklyn's first birthday with us.  Brooklyn also got her ears pierced after her first birthday...just a few photos of her with her new gems!  And of course some updated photos of our handsome little man, Joey!

UPDATES, UPDATEs, and more UPDATES (Brooklyn's First Birthday)

Wow, I say it is about time that I update this blog.  We have been very busy these last couple of months.  Birthdays, projects, preschool, family trips, and much more.  First, I am going to start off with Brooklyn's 1st Birthday...May 21, 2011 was Brooklyn's 1st Birthday, as well as, her Sweet Shoppe Birthday Party.  We had an amazing party with all of our great family and friends to share it with.  It wouldn't have been the same without them all, all 40 of them...lol!  There were tons of sweets (cupcakes, candy galore, and kids).  It was a very eventful day...not only did we have a great party, but Brooklyn decided she was going to take her very first couple steps all on her own (what a show off)...lol!  Ever since then she has been on the go, and let me tell you she is one fast little woman...lol.  Here are some photos of her big day!

HAPPY EASTER!!!

So it has finally come and gone...Easter that is.  Joey has been asking me for a month straight when the Easter Bunny is coming and if he can find Easter eggs.  Both the kids had a great Easter.  We had a full day of fun on Saturday.  We went to a potluck picnic/bbq Easter Egg Hunt with all our great friends and their kids...it was such a blast.  Great food, nice weather, wonderful friends...can't get much better then that.  Once we arrived home that night I threw the kids in the bath and then it was time to color eggs.  Joey was so pumped and had a blast coloring his eggs and sticking stickers on them of course!  This morning the Easter Bunny arrived and delivered two large baskets for the kids and hide tons of eggs throughout the house.  Although, this was Brooklyn's first Easter she still cashed in on the eggs thanks to her brother helping her find them and putting them in her basket!  Once all the fun was done at our house we headed to Grandma and Grandpa Campo's house to have dinner and hang out with family.  The kids recieved even more wonderful goodies there.  I would say all in all they had a wonderful Easter.

Just want to say Thank You to all of the great Family and Friends for all the goodies, cards, love, and fun this Easter.  Hope your Easter was as great as ours!

All New Blog...

Here it is...finally up and running.  I have finally started our family blog, which I have been meaning to do for quite some time.  I will be posting photos, videos, and general things about the kids and all our family happenings...not just for the family and friends that can't be around to see, but also as something that we as a family can look back on later in life.  I am so excited to get this going and will be posting a lot of great things shortly!  Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!
